# Billing messages

> What each billing banner and Plans page message means, and what to do.

Find the message you see, then follow **What to do**.

## Banners at the top of the app

These banners appear above every page except **Plans**.

> **Choose a plan to keep using Block Hero**
>
> **What it means**
>
> Your store doesn't have an active Block Hero plan, either because you haven't picked one yet or because your subscription was cancelled.
>
> **What to do**
>
> Click **Choose a plan** and pick a plan. See [Plans](/docs/billing/plans.md).

> **Your subscription is paused**
>
> **What it means**
>
> Shopify pauses app billing while a store is frozen. Block Hero resumes automatically when the store is reactivated.
>
> **What to do**
>
> Nothing in Block Hero. Once your store is active again in Shopify, the banner goes away on its own. See [Subscription status](/docs/billing/subscription-status.md).

> **Your free trial ends in N days**
>
> **What it means**
>
> Your free trial ends soon. This banner appears in the last 3 days of the trial, and reads **Your free trial ends today** on the last day. Billing starts automatically when the trial ends.
>
> **What to do**
>
> Nothing, if you're happy with your plan. To review or change it, click **View plans**. See [Trial, change or cancel](/docs/billing/trial-change-cancel.md).

## Messages on the Plans page

> **We haven't heard back from Shopify yet**
>
> **What it means**
>
> You came back from Shopify's approval page, but Shopify hasn't confirmed your plan yet. If you approved the charge, it can take a moment to show up.
>
> **What to do**
>
> Click **Check again**. If you declined the charge, choose a plan below when you're ready.

> **The charge wasn't approved**
>
> **What it means**
>
> You didn't approve the charge on Shopify's page. If you already had a plan, the banner says **Nothing changed: your current plan is still active.** If not, it says **No plan was activated. Choose one below when you're ready.**
>
> **What to do**
>
> Choose a plan again and approve the charge on Shopify's page.

> **Couldn't load billing**
>
> **What it means**
>
> Something went wrong while loading your plan details.
>
> **What to do**
>
> Click **Retry**. If it keeps happening, [contact us](/docs/contact.md).

> **Couldn't start the subscription. Try again.**
>
> **What it means**
>
> Block Hero couldn't start the plan you picked.
>
> **What to do**
>
> Pick the plan again. If it keeps happening, [contact us](/docs/contact.md).

> **No plan is available for stores on the \[Shopify plan] plan yet. Contact support and we'll sort it out.**
>
> **What it means**
>
> Block Hero doesn't have a plan set up yet for stores on your Shopify plan.
>
> **What to do**
>
> Click **Contact support** in the message, or [contact us](/docs/contact.md) directly, with your store's myshopify.com address and we'll sort it out.
